Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Analyst to strengthen efficiency across our Stellenbosch operations. You will analyze data to drive inventory optimization, forecast accuracy, and cost savings, collaborating with procurement, operations and sales to ensure aligned execution.

The role focuses on leveraging Excel, SQL and BI tools to deliver actionable insights and improve forecasting precision in a competitive FMCG market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as listed.
• 2+ years in supply chain analysis or similar in FMCG preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvements in inventory, logistics and demand planning.
• Develop accurate demand forecasts to support production and inventory optimization.
• Monitor KPIs across the supply chain and report performance against targets.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations and sales to align and execute strategies.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing service.
