Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Supply Chain Analyst for a major FMCG client in Midrand, Gauteng. You will analyze end-to-end supply chain data, forecast demand, manage inventory and develop KPIs to improve efficiency and on-time delivery.

This hybrid role balances in-office collaboration with remote work, and involves cross-functional collaboration to optimize procurement, warehousing and logistics while mitigating risks and driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to track performance and report to management.
• Forecast demand and optimize inventory to minimise stockouts.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks with contingency plans.
• Implement process improvements to reduce lead times and boost responsiveness.
• Support implementation and optimization of supply chain software and tools.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in logistics.
