Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join a fully remote operations team in South Africa. You will optimize supply chain processes for efficiency, cost savings, and timely delivery across the SA landscape.

The role requires 3+ years of FMCG supply chain analysis, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and strong forecasting and collaboration skills to support remote decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and supply chain software.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management, logistics, and transportation processes for FMCG products.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
• Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to optimize demand planning and inventory levels across regions including Centurion and beyond.
