Placements24 is seeking a diligent Supply Chain Analyst for Soweto, Gauteng. The role focuses on optimizing inventory, improving logistics performance, and reducing costs through data-driven analysis of supply chain data and KPI dashboards.

You will collaborate with procurement, logistics, production and sales teams, support demand forecasting, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data including inventory levels, transport costs, lead times and delivery performance.
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Support implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and management reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
