Job summary

Trending Talent Solutions is seeking a Data Controller for a 6-month contract with our oil and gas client. You will be responsible for accurate uploading, indexing and maintenance of documents and data within the Asset Performance Management (APM) system.

Qualifications include Grade 12 and a related diploma/certificate; strong MS Excel/Word/Outlook skills are essential. 2–3 years' data control or information management experience is preferred, in asset-intensive environments.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NSC is required or advantageous.
• Diploma or certificate in a related discipline is advantageous.
• Experience with document control and information management.

Responsibilities

• Upload, indexing and maintain documents and data in the APM system.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely updates for asset documentation.
• Support controlled processes for engineering/technical documentation.

Our client in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Data Controller to join their team on a 6 month contract. You will be responsible for the accurate, timely and controlled uploading, indexing and maintenance of documents and associated data within the Asset Performance Management (APM) system.

Qualification required

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Document Control, Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering Administration or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in data capturing, document control, technical administration or information management.
• Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, refinery, petrochemical, mining or other asset-intensive environment would be advantageous.
• Previous experience working with an Asset Performance Management (APM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Document Management or Maintenance Management system would be advantageous.
• Experience handling engineering or technical documentation would be beneficial.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
