First Distribution in Midrand is seeking a Cybersecurity Brand Manager to drive sales and operational excellence for assigned brands. You will manage reseller channels, execute marketing plans, and oversee P&L and budgets while developing partner relationships and forecasts.

The role requires a cybersecurity background, a 5+ year track record in IT business development, and strong leadership in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• IT Diploma/Degree would be advantageous
• Cybersecurity background
• A minimum of 5 years of Business Development Management experience in the IT Industry

Responsibilities

• Drive Gross Profit targets through Resellers
• Sell First Distribution’s product portfolio within existing Resellers
• Recruit new Resellers
• Display product knowledge and brand programs across the portfolio
• Bi-weekly sales review with Line Manager
• Drive targeted partner development planning
• Drive Sales Strategy and overview sessions with resellers
• On-boarding processes within accounts: operational, sales, technical processes
• Build and manage relationships with Resellers
• Ensure the satisfactory execution of the aligned business plan with Line Manager and Brand Managers
• Demonstrate sales growth
• Identify and qualify new deals and partners to sustain pipeline and target coverage
• Report opportunity details weekly showing deal progression and pipeline creation using CRM
• Ensure sales targets are achieved and margins and rebates realized
• Adhere to Call Plans and report weekly activities/minutes
• Submit sales reports and forecasts to Line Manager
• Drive revenue and GP targets across the brand portfolio across the full territory
• Support sales growth in all regions
• Execute Vendor objectives and strategy
• Manage Vendor relationships and portfolio in accounts
• Run Quarterly Business Review Sessions with vendors
• Understand vendor rebate programs and maximise attainment
• Maintain brand budget and P&L
• Manage stock and avoid aging; Warehousing and Logistics for brands
• Control Operating profit per budget; Pipeline management in CRM
• Pricing accuracy and product codes; training certifications maintained
• Ensure staff training and certifications are up to date
• Conduct Marketing Planning sessions and align with Vendor Marketing teams
• Develop Business Development Plan with KPIs; align marketing regionally
• Grow market share and monitor competitive landscape
• Ensure customer enablement is frequent and up to date
• Manage Sales Specialists and ensure KPI targets are met
• Participate in onboarding learning map during first week
