Job summary

SRG Recruitment (Pty) Ltd represents a well-established chemical industry client seeking a Customer Service Specialist. You will manage local customer orders, respond to inquiries, and coordinate deliveries, while preparing quotations and invoicing documentation.

The role requires a Matric with 3+ years in customer service, strong computer literacy, excellent communication, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process local customer orders, prepare quotations and ensure accurate invoicing and credit notes for returns.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints via telephone and email, maintaining clear, professional communication and a positive customer-service approach.
• Coordinate deliveries by liaising with transporters, making delivery arrangements and following up to ensure orders are delivered timeously.
• Maintain customer and product information, including price lists, samples, consumption monitoring and dispatch requirements, while assisting with stock takes and logistics coordination when required.

Our client, a well-established company in the chemical industry, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders and queries, coordinating deliveries, preparing relevant documentation, and ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process local customer orders, prepare quotations and ensure accurate invoicing and credit notes for returns
• Resolve customer queries and complaints via telephone and email, maintaining clear, professional communication and a positive customer-service approach
• Coordinate deliveries by liaising with transporters, making delivery arrangements and following up to ensure orders are delivered timeously
• Maintain customer and product information, including price lists, samples, consumption monitoring and dispatch requirements, while assisting with stock takes and logistics coordination when required

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Customer Services / Customer Service Administration role
• Strong computer literacy, with good administrative, organisational, and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and telephone etiquette, with proven ability to handle customer queries, complaints, and conflict professionally
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
