EnableSA is seeking a Customer Service Representative for Citrus / Agriculture in Gqeberha. You will manage weekly shipment reports, liaise with international customers, and prepare invoices and packing lists for receivers.

The role requires 1-3 years of export/logistics or customer service experience in fresh produce, strong Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Some early/late schedule alignment with time zones is expected.

Job Description

• Maintain weekly shipment reports for Canadian, Far East and Russiancustomers: vessel data, ETAs, delays and document status
• Send shipment reports to each receiver and flag delays (e.g. vesselsrunning more than 14 days late) for claims follow-up
• Keep internal planning sheets, customer trackers and retail programtrackers up to date
• Prepare arrival/mates data and ETAs for the Canadian desk
• Prepare andsend invoices and packing lists to receivers; upload documents to sharedfolders where required
• Perform finaldocument checks so every customer has a complete, correct document set (billsof lading, packing lists, invoices) before arrival
• Upload andcheck retailer purchase orders in the company system daily; create manualinvoices where a retail program requires it
• Save anddistribute quality control (QC) reports and sales estimates per shipment
• Prepare salesaccounts and push them through to close once containers are fully worked
• Trackadvances and final payments per consignee; follow up with customers onoutstanding dues according to each account’s payment terms and cycle
• Accumulateremittance data from receivers and reconcile it against shipments
• Analyseretailer yield reports and monitor quality claims before closing accounts
• Preparematerial for and participate in weekly/regular customer meetings (Canadianreceivers and Far East/Russian retail and wholesale customers)
• Handleday-to-day customer queries and requests, looping in the commercial team
• Collectcustomer inventory reports, pack out summaries and availability updates to feedthe weekly market review
• Coordinateprice confirmations with the internal pricing/admin function
• Preparegrower loading and invoicing data
• Supportpackhouse/grower registration requirements for export market programs
• Remind andchase counterparties for recurring deliverables (e.g. crop reports)
  

Requirements

• Grade12
• Degree inlogistics or business administration
• Minimumof 2 years' relevant experience, gained in the citrus / agriculture exportindustry
• Exportadministration / shipping / logistics coordination, or customer serviceexperience fresh produce or perishables experience a strong advantage
• Advanced MicrosoftExcel: building and maintaining multi-sheet trackers, working accurately withlarge data sets
• Strongwritten English for daily email correspondence with international customers
• Exeptional attention to detail, especially with shipping documents, invoices and paymentfollow-ups
• Knowledge ofexport documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, phytosanitary/final docs)will be advantageous
• Experiencewith an ERP or trade system (the company uses QX) and Dropbox-based documentsharing will be advantageous
• Availabilityfor regular scheduled customer meetings across Canadian, Far East and Russiantime zones; some early-morning (Far East) and afternoon/early-evening (NorthAmerica) availability needed
