Job summary

RMB - Rand Merchant Bank in Johannesburg seeks a Custody Client Services professional to provide high-quality service across the full value chain from account setup to closure. You will maintain open communication with clients to retain and enhance their experience.

Responsibilities include handling custody and settlement queries, coordinating account openings/changes/closures, providing reports, and safeguarding client documentation to support service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience within Client Services.
• Experience in a Securities environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigate client issues with custody and corporate events and reply to queries.
• Coordinate, monitor, record keep and reconcile account opening, amendment and closing requests.
• Respond to client queries concerning custody/settlements and related cash issues (unaffirmed/mismatched/failed trades).
• Distribute supporting reports to direct clients as required.
• Safeguard client documentation for account administration processes.
• Investigate corporate events and settlement issues and respond to ad hoc requests to maintain service reputation.
