Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited in Sandton is seeking a Custody Client Services professional to provide high-quality service from account setup to closure, maintaining open lines of communication to enhance the client experience.

You will investigate custody issues, coordinate account changes, respond to settlements queries, and deliver reports to clients while upholding risk controls and compliance.

Minimum Grade 12 with 3–5 years in client services; Securities environment experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12; 3–5 years’ experience in Client Services, preferably in Securities.
• Experience with custody/settlements or corporate events is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain clear communication with Custody clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate client custody issues and respond to queries using the bank's query tool.
• Coordinate, monitor, record, and reconcile account opening, amendment and closing requests.
• Prepare and dispatch reports required by direct clients as per agreed processes.
• Engage in client visits and service reviews to support service excellence.
