Job summary

Ad Talent Africa is seeking a CRM Campaign Developer to design, build and deploy email and SMS campaigns across multiple markets. You will manage briefs, assets, segmentation and testing, while maintaining audience lists, templates and data quality in Dynamics 365 and OpenApply.

The role demands meticulous attention, strong analytical skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly, delivering accurate, measurable campaign results.

Qualifications

• Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Ometria, HubSpot or similar.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Basic HTML knowledge for email creation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with marketing automation or customer journey platforms.
• Understanding of UTM tracking, campaign attribution and reporting.
• Experience with forms, lead capture and CRM data management.
• Understanding of data quality and consent management.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage campaign briefs, timelines, assets, approvals and segmentation.
• Build, test and deploy email and SMS campaigns using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OpenApply.
• Create and maintain audience segments, distribution lists and email templates.
• Ensure campaigns are responsive, accessible and error-free.
• Conduct pre-launch testing across devices, browsers and email clients.
• Plan and analyse A/B tests across content, subject lines, CTAs, send times and audiences.
• Use campaign results to recommend improvements.
• Build and maintain lead capture forms.
• Manage data imports, exports, marketing lists and suppression lists.
• Support data cleansing, deduplication and CRM data quality.
• Maintain accurate contact records and consent preferences.
• Produce campaign performance reports and track key metrics.
• Analyse engagement, conversions and campaign trends.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Review campaigns for accuracy, including content, links, personalisation, tracking and audience selection.
• Maintain campaign documentation and follow QA processes.
• Manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and support wider CRM activities.
