Job summary

Guardian Recruiting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Creditors & Payroll Administrator to manage creditor payments, wage administration, and related administrative duties in a busy office environment.

The role covers processing supplier invoices in Pastel, preparing payment batches, wage processing, and handling insurance records for machinery. The successful candidate will work independently in a structured, confidential setting.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport is non-negotiable.
• Clear credit record and background.
• Previous experience in creditors/accounts administration.
• Practical experience with Pastel is essential.
• Experience in wage or payroll administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full creditors function from receipt through to payment.
• Capture and process supplier invoices on Pastel with accuracy.
• Verify invoices against documentation and obtain authorisation.
• Reconcile statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare creditor payment batches on Pastel.
• Ensure timely, accurate payments within terms.
• Maintain creditor records and filing.
