Job summary

Reinhardt Transport is seeking a diligent accounts payable clerk in Gauteng to capture creditor invoices, obtain approvals, and manage monthly reconciliations against statements. The role includes preparing remittance advices, checking age analysis, and allocating payments, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

The successful candidate will have Matric, strong Excel skills, and experience in reconciliations or creditors functions.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Advanced Excel is essential.
• Experience in reconciliations is preferred.
• Experience in creditor functions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Capture creditor invoices in accordance with set guidelines.
• Ensure creditor invoices are approved/signed off by relevant manager.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of creditor invoices against statements.
• Prepare and send remittance advices for creditor payments.
• Check age analysis for creditors to ensure there are no long outstanding liabilities.
• Allocate creditor payments.
• Process recovery invoices ensuring supporting documentation is accurate and correct; perform monthly reconciliations.
• Upload BEE certificates and ensure suppliers information is updated on the BEE platform.
• Adhoc journals & tasks required by the Financial Manager.
• Capture Wages Invoices onto the system.
• Daily reconciliations TMS vs QSA (Diesel).

• Ensure that all creditor invoices are approved/signed off by relevant manager
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of creditors invoices against statements
• Prepare and send remittance advices for creditor payments
• Check age analysis for creditors to ensure that there are no long outstanding liabilities
• Allocation of creditor payments
• Process recovery invoices ensure supporting documentation is accurate and correct. Monthly reconciliations thereof.
• Uploading BEE certificates and ensure suppliers info is updated on BEE platform.
• Adhoc journals & tasks required by the Financial Manager
• Capture Wages Invoices onto the system
• Daily recons TMS vs QSA (Diesel)

It will be an advantage if the suitable candidate is available immediately.

Requirements:

The suitable candidate must have the following Qualification / Experience:Matric

• Intermediate / advance excel skills compulsory
• Extensive knowledge of reconciliations is a must
• Experience in a creditors function will be an advantage
