Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in catering or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of food service operations and catering best practices.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities with a professional demeanor.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as per event schedules.
• Hybrid work model and Rustenburg-based commuting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct catering staff during event preparation, setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure all catering orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time according to client specifications.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to ensure clear understanding of roles and event details.
• Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and assist with ordering as needed.
• Address and resolve client concerns or issues during events.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in training and development of new catering team members.
• Manage setup and breakdown of catering equipment and presentation areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster positive client relationships.
