C&I Installation and Commissioning

The Lead Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer shall report directly to the Project Manager: Concentrator and will work closely with the Project Office, Engineering Consultants, Construction Team, Commissioning Team, Operations personnel, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing specialist control and instrumentation engineering support throughout the project lifecycle while providing regular progress updates and technical recommendations to the Project Manager: Concentrator. The role will ensure effective integration of all control, instrumentation and automation systems to achieve the approved project scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety objectives.

Position Location

The position shall be primarily based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa, with travel to the Mine site in Zimbabwe as required to support engineering, construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities.

During plant commissioning, this role will be required to be on site to oversee commissioning (C1-C5) activities within their areas of responsibility. Travel requirements will vary depending on project phases and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design

• Develop and review C&I engineering deliverables.

Employment Conditions

• Primary work location: Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa.
• Site travel to Zimbabwe will be required periodically based on project requirements.
• Employment type: Fixed‑term contract.
• Remuneration: R160,000 per month Cost to Company (CTC).
• Travel, accommodation and approved site‑related expenses incurred during project travel will be covered in accordance with company policy.
• The successful candidate shall be responsible for complying with all applicable taxation requirements in their country of residence.
• Payments may be subject to applicable statutory deductions, including Zimbabwean withholding tax requirements, currently understood to be 5%, in accordance with prevailing legislation and any applicable double taxation agreements.
• The Company reserves the right to make any mandatory statutory deductions required by law.

Contract Duration

This position is offered on an initial 12‑month fixed‑term contract, commencing on a mutually agreed date (open to extend). The contract may be extended based on:

• Project requirements and progression.
• Individual performance.
• Continued support requirements during construction, commissioning and operational readiness phases.

The successful candidate will support the Mine Project through various stages of project execution, including engineering, construction support, commissioning and operational readiness activities. The Company reserves the right to extend the contract or offer a further term of employment subject to project requirements and mutual agreement.
