Job summary

Bidvest Prestige seeks a Facilities Manager to implement and manage a cleaning solution for clients in line with the SLA. You will drive cleaning and hygiene, oversee service delivery, and implement HSE, quality and risk management with the Operations Manager.

You will conduct audits, manage projects and provide technical support, identify gaps for continuous improvement and report on SLA compliance. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 6: Diploma Property Management, Project Management, Operations Management or related formal qualification
• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• Valid SA Driver's License
• 3 years relevant experience in Facilities Management, CRM, Property Management & Financial Management

• Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management

Responsibilities

• Drive cleaning and hygiene for the Client per SLA.
• Ensure delivery of efficient service as outlined in the SLA.
• Implement an effective HSE, Quality & Risk Management system with the Operations Manager.
• Conduct daily audits on services and sustain quality.
• Assist in management of projects and provide technical support where applicable.
• Identify gaps and deficiencies and implement continuous improvements.
• Explore innovative methods for cost-effective solutions.
• Provide monthly reports on SLA compliance.
• Build strategic relationships internally and externally.
• Manage staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Handle subordinate performance and corrective actions per policy.
• Ensure staff placement and approve leave for subordinates.
• Train, coach, mentor and develop staff.
• Implement cleaner work schedules and assess performance.

Job description

To implement and manage a cleaning solution for Clients in accordance with the SLA

MAIN OUTPUTS

• Responsible for driving cleaning and hygiene for the Client
• Ensure delivery of efficient service as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Implementation of an effective HSE, Quality & Risk Management system in conjunction with the Operations Manager, and in accordance to Client needs
• Conduct daily audits on services rendered and ensure that prescribed work quality and standards are sustained
• Assist in the management of projects and provide technical support, where applicable
• Identify gaps and deficiencies in services, advise and effect solutions as part of Continuous Improvement on services rendered
• Explore and recommend innovative methods, based on best practices, in order to bring about cost-effective solutions
• Provide monthly reports and feedback on continued compliance to the SLA
• Building strategic relationships both internally and externally
• Manage staff performance & facilitate improvement through regularly monitoring performance & providing required coaching, support & feedback
• Manage performance & conflicts within subordinate employees & effect corrective actions, in line with company policies/procedure
• Ensure adequate staff placement i.e. prepare suitable shift-roster and manage/approve applicable leave for subordinate employees
• Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring & development of subordinate employees
• Implement cleaner work schedules and evaluate and manage performance

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
