You will lead cross‑functional projects, mentor staff in 5S, Kaizen, and VSM, and track KPIs to quantify gains. The role requires a hands‑on mindset and a willingness to relocate to Vereeniging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in an industrial engineering role focused on continuous improvement.
• Proven lean tools experience (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Poka‑Yoke) with Green Belt a plus.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma.
• Analyze current production processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and optimization areas.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analyses, and equipment performance evaluations.
• Develop and update SOPs and work instructions.
• Train and mentor production staff on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to process efficiency and quality.
• Support new product introductions and process changes from an industrial engineering perspective.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful implementation of improvement projects.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
