Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial engineering with emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is essential.
• Proven experience leading significant improvement projects with measurable results.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and change management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with process simulation and statistical analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for process optimization across manufacturing and operational areas.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and other improvement workshops.
• Develop and implement metrics to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and report on progress.
• Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement principles and tools.
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure the sustainability of implemented changes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality and production issues and drive corrective actions.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, engaging employees in problem-solving and innovation.
• Ensure all implemented processes adhere to safety and environmental standards in Vereeniging.
