About the Role

Our client, a leading mining and resource company with significant operations near **Upington, Northern Cape, ZA**, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join their dedicated HR team. This fully remote position plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. You will be responsible for data analysis, market benchmarking, and ensuring the compliance and effectiveness of all remuneration strategies across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market compensation data and industry trends to ensure competitive salary ranges and pay structures.
• Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs, including base pay, incentive plans, and executive compensation.
• Manage and evaluate employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct job evaluations and create job architecture frameworks to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Prepare reports and presentations on compensation and benefits trends, program effectiveness, and recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to communicate compensation and benefits information to employees.
• Support the annual salary review and bonus allocation processes.
• Utilize HRIS and specialized compensation software for data management and analysis.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, preferably within a large organization or consultancy.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Expertise in compensation survey data analysis and market benchmarking.
• In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and incentive plan design.
• Experience with various employee benefits programs and administration.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level) and HRIS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
