Placements24 is seeking a proactive Social Media Community Manager in Bloemfontein to cultivate and grow our ecommerce community. You will engage customers, manage conversations, and nurture brand loyalty through active social media presence.

You will monitor comments, resolve inquiries, and collaborate with marketing to drive engagement and sales while upholding the brand voice and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in social media community management or similar role for ecommerce.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage online conversations with tact, empathy, and professionalism.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and community management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and engage with the online community across all social media channels, replying to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Foster positive discussions, build relationships with followers, and encourage user-generated content.
• Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates within the community.
• Manage and resolve customer service inquiries and complaints via social channels promptly and professionally.
• Report on community sentiment, engagement levels, and key feedback trends to inform marketing and product strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop community-building initiatives and campaigns.
