Placements24 is seeking a dedicated and proactive Program Officer to manage and implement community development initiatives in the Richards Bay area. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, public administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or community development sector.
• Strong understanding of community development principles and best practices.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of community development programs.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify priority areas for intervention.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with community leaders, local government, and other stakeholders.
• Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Prepare regular program reports, documenting progress, challenges, and outcomes.
