Job summary

FirstRand Group in South Africa is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for the POP network. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience by understanding needs, guiding to digital and self‑service solutions, and ensuring adherence to banking policies and processes.

This 12‑month hourly rate contract under the Department of Home Affairs Initiative offers opportunities to build relationships, grow professionally, and contribute to local market impact as a brand ambassador.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognized by FAIS.
1-3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer transactional needs and expectations.
Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs.
Analyse customer data and recommend tailored solutions.
Achieve sales results by providing contextual and integrated financial solutions to customers.
