Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial property development, project management, or a related role.
Demonstrated success in managing complex development projects from conception to completion.
Strong understanding of the Pietermaritzburg and KwaZulu-Natal commercial real estate market, including zoning laws and development regulations.
Excellent financial modeling, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in project management software and industry-standard tools.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to analyze market data and identify strategic investment opportunities.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
Professional certifications such as PMP or RICS are advantageous.
