Job summary

Placements24 is seeking experienced Commercial Drivers for long-haul routes based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will transport goods across provinces, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure safe loading, compliance, and on-time deliveries.

You must hold a SA Professional Driver's Permit (Code 10 or 14), have at least 3 years of long-haul experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to manage driving hours and fatigue rules. A company truck and support from dispatch are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid South African Professional Driver's Permit (Code 10 or 14).
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable long-haul driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Ability to manage driving hours and comply with fatigue management regulations.
• Good knowledge of South African road networks and routes.
• Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks as required.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
