Humankind in Constantia/Somerset seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales performance and deliver a premium customer experience.

This hands-on retail leader will develop the team, manage stock and visual merchandising, and ensure operational excellence while achieving business targets in a luxury environment. The role requires a minimum of five years in retail management and Matric, with a proven track record in coaching staff and delivering results.

Formación

• Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
• At least 5 years in retail and retail management.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver strong commercial results.
• Experience training, coaching and managing retail teams.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem solving skills.
• Excellent stock management, reporting and organisational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Drive store sales to achieve and exceed targets.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs and reports for growth opportunities.
• Lead on the sales floor and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Recruit, train and develop store staff.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance and policy adherence.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing.
• Maintain stock control, inventory accuracy and shrinkage prevention.
• Ensure high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
• Handle cash, banking, reconciliations and customer orders.
• Produce operational reports and update management.

An established premium retail brand is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on retail leader who is passionate about customer service, team development and operational excellence, with the ability to create a premium shopping experience while achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store sales to achieve and exceed targets.
• Monitor sales performance, reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop store staff.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance and adherence to company policies.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain effective stock control, inventory accuracy and shrinkage prevention.
• Ensure high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
• Manage cash handling, banking, reconciliations and customer orders.
• Complete operational reports and communicate performance updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• An additional relevant qualification would be advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience in retail and retail management.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver strong commercial results.
• Experience training, coaching and managing retail teams.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience within luxury or premium retail would be advantageous.
