Job summary

First Distribution in South Africa is seeking a Senior Cloud Account Manager to promote our Cloud and Hosting solutions to an assigned base of resellers. You will drive revenue growth across a balanced portfolio, build strong reseller relationships, and demonstrate a solid understanding of First Distribution’s full business offering.

The role is permanent and office-based with standard hours. Key duties include selling Cloud solutions, driving monthly GP targets, onboarding new resellers,

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• IT or relevant business qualification would be advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in IT sales or external account management.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and consumption-based sales models.
• AWS and/or Microsoft Cloud certifications are advantageous.
• Experience working with CRM systems for pipeline management.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency for forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Sell Cloud solutions and services to assigned reseller partners.
• Drive monthly GP targets across allocated accounts.
• Recruit, onboard, and enable new resellers.
• Expand product adoption within existing reseller accounts.
• Maintain CRM pipeline and provide bi-weekly updates.
• Attend vendor conferences and join brand planning sessions.
