Exceed HR and Recruitment in Stellenbosch is seeking a Client Success Account Manager to lead and grow strategic client relationships for sustainability platforms.

You will be the main contact for key clients and senior stakeholders, coordinate internal teams, manage projects, budgets and timelines, and drive renewals and account expansion. The role requires 6–8+ years in client-facing roles with strong leadership and bilingual communication.

Client Success Account Manager required in Stellenbosch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow strategic client relationships.
• Act as the main contact for key clients and senior stakeholders.
• Manage client projects, budgets, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage client retention, renewals and account growth.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Monitor client satisfaction, engagement and platform usage.
• Support sustainability platform adoption and client feedback.
• Mentor and support Client Success/Account Management team members.
• Improve client onboarding and internal processes.

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree / undergraduate qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Agriculture, Business/Commerce, Engineering, Economics, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or Development Studies.
• 6–8+ years’ experience in Client Success, Account Management, Project Management, Consulting, SaaS or a related commercial/client-facing role.
• Experience managing senior clients, multiple projects, budgets, timelines and risks.
• Experience with client retention, renewals and account growth.
• Strong project management and commercial skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong Afrikaans and English communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM/project management systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge or experience in sustainability, ESG, agriculture or SaaS is advantageous.
• Mature, organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.
