Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants in Stellenbosch seeks an experienced Client Success Manager to manage strategic client relationships, lead senior stakeholders and oversee project budgets, timelines and deliverables.

You will coordinate internal teams, drive client retention and account growth, mentor junior staff, and promote platform adoption. Strong Afrikaans and English communication, leadership and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Agriculture, Business/Commerce, Engineering, Economics, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or Development Studies.
• 6-8+ years' experience in Client Success, Account Management, Project Management, Consulting, SaaS or a related commercial/client-facing role.
• Experience managing senior clients, multiple projects, budgets, timelines and risks.
• Experience with client retention, renewals and account growth.
• Strong project management and commercial skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong Afrikaans and English communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM/project management systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge or experience in sustainability, ESG, agriculture or SaaS is advantageous.
• Mature, organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic client relationships.
• Act as the main contact for key clients and senior stakeholders.
• Manage client projects, budgets, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage client retention, renewals and account growth.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Monitor client satisfaction, engagement and platform usage.
• Support sustainability platform adoption and client feedback.
• Mentor and support Client Success/Account Management team members.
• Improve client onboarding and internal processes.
