Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking an experienced Client Success professional in Stellenbosch to lead strategic client relationships and sustainability projects from scoping to delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines and budgets, while driving retention and account growth.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in client-facing roles, strong leadership, and proficiency with SaaS platforms, CRM systems, and Excel; English and Afrikaans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field.
• 6–8 years' experience in Client Success, Account Management, Sustainability Consulting, Professional Services, or similar client-facing role.
• Proven experience managing strategic client relationships, projects, budgets, and multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, carbon footprinting, or agricultural supply chains is advantageous.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans; a third language is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, project management, organisational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Client-focused, commercially minded, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key client accounts.
• Oversee sustainability projects from scoping through to delivery.
• Coordinate internal teams to finish projects on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and client deliverables.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and maintain client communication.
• Drive client retention, identify growth opportunities, and support account expansion.
• Support client adoption of sustainability platforms and gather feedback.
• Mentor Client Success team members and contribute to process improvements.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and account updates.
