Job summary

Crew Life at Sea is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver expert technical assistance to clients and internal staff on Windows and Mac platforms. The role requires troubleshooting hardware/software, configuring new equipment, and maintaining networks to ensure reliable performance.

You will work with a collaborative IT team to improve processes, document resolutions, and stay current with industry trends, enabling innovative solutions for our clients and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Familiarity with remote access tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong customer service and dedication to support.
• Valid South African Passport.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients and internal staff via phone, email, and remote access tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including network connectivity, printers, and other peripherals
• Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
• Monitor and maintain company systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to clients
