Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist to install, configure and maintain hardware, software and peripherals aboard our cruise ships. You will troubleshoot issues, manage AD, Office 365, and network services while ensuring data security and backups.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree and at least three years in a similar role, with strong teamwork and the ability to work independently in maritime environments. Previous shipboard experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory.
• Experience with network security and data backup solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Previous experience in the maritime industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and peripherals On Board Cruise Ship.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software and network systems.
• Monitor and maintain the company's network and server infrastructure.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Provide technical support to employees and assist with training on new systems and software.
• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
