Job summary

K & R Home Security in Randburg is seeking a Claims Team Manager to lead the claims function on-site. You will oversee end-to-end processing, coach staff, and ensure timely, compliant handling of complex claims for insurers and clients.

You will collaborate with field technicians and other departments to validate information, improve workflows, and deliver accurate reports and metrics for management.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Insurance processes and products, with experience working with insurers or in an insurance-related environment.
• Proficiency in Claims Handling and Claims Management, including end-to-end processing, assessment, approval, and escalation management.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive client issues, manage expectations, and maintain professional communication.
• Experience in Training, coaching, and developing team members to improve accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team management role, ideally within insurance, claims, or financial services.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in using claims management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email platforms).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant diploma or degree in insurance, finance, business, or a related field.
