Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr.Eng. or CHTE is advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years experience in transportation planning or traffic engineering.
• Proficiency in transportation modeling software such as PTV Vissim or CUBE.
• Strong analytical skills and traffic data collection/analysis experience.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop transportation models and conduct traffic impact assessments for new developments and infrastructure projects.
• Plan and design road networks, public transport systems, and non-motorized transport facilities.
• Prepare feasibility studies, concept reports, and detailed plans for transportation infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with urban planners, government agencies, and stakeholders to integrate transportation plans with land use planning.
• Analyze traffic data and operational performance to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable transportation strategies, including cycling and pedestrian infrastructure planning.
