Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transport Engineering.
At least 7 years of professional experience in transport planning and design.
Proficiency in transport modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA INTERSECTION) and CAD.
Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and South African transport policies.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Experience managing project teams and client relations.

Responsibilities

Lead transportation master plans and feasibility studies for road and public transit projects.
Conduct traffic impact assessments and develop traffic management strategies.
Design road geometric layouts, intersection improvements, and network infrastructure.
Utilize transport modeling software to simulate traffic flow and assess network performance.
Coordinate with municipal authorities, developers, and other consultants on transportation-related matters.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for diverse stakeholders.
