Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on transportation or traffic engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation and traffic engineering design.
• Proficiency in transportation modeling software (e.g., Vissim, TransCAD) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of geometric design, traffic control devices, and road safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, highways, and public transit facilities.
• Conduct traffic impact studies, capacity analyses, and develop traffic control plans.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD and relevant software.
• Ensure designs comply with national and provincial transportation standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and other engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase and address any design-related queries.
