Placements24 is seeking a proactive Construction Foreman to lead civil works teams in Mossel Bay. This hands-on role requires strong leadership to manage daily site operations, guide skilled and unskilled labor, and ensure safety and quality on project sites.

The ideal candidate will oversee crews, interpret plans, and ensure efficient use of resources across multiple sites around Mossel Bay, while maintaining productivity and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role in civil works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work on various sites around Mossel Bay.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews on site.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, blueprints, and safety regulations.
• Manage the allocation and use of labor, materials, and equipment effectively.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.
• Monitor work progress and report on completion status to the Project Manager.
• Operate construction equipment as needed and ensure its proper maintenance.
