Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Foreman to supervise and coordinate work on multiple sites in the Port Elizabeth area. The role is hands-on, requiring strong leadership, practical knowledge of construction methods and an ability to motivate a crew to meet project objectives.

You will oversee daily operations, interpret blueprints, manage labor and equipment, maintain safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specification for clients

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of trades, building materials, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to guide the construction process accurately.
• Manage the allocation and efficient use of labor, tools, and equipment on site.
• Maintain daily logs and reports on work progress, safety incidents, and site conditions.
• Coordinate with project managers and other site personnel to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
