Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Construction Site Foreman to lead daily operations on multiple sites around Centurion. You will supervise a crew, ensure work is safe, on time, and compliant with plans and specifications.

You will enforce safety rules, interpret blueprints, manage materials and equipment, maintain logs, and report progress to the Project Manager. Strong leadership and practical construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role for at least 5 years.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations in Gauteng.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of working on active construction sites in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily activities of construction crews to meet schedules and quality.
• Enforce safety regulations and site-specific safety plans with daily briefings.
• Interpret blueprints and assign tasks based on skills and project needs.
• Manage on-site materials and equipment for efficient use and storage.
• Maintain daily logs of work and site conditions; report to Project Manager.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specs before sign-off.
