Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Construction Site Supervisor in Mossel Bay, Western Cape to oversee day-to-day residential project operations. You will manage site activities, enforce safety, and ensure work is completed on time and to high quality.

The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating trades, suppliers, and project managers, with strong leadership and communication skills and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong understanding of building processes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, timelines, and quality control measures.
• Maintain a safe construction site by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular safety checks.
• Inspect work performed by trades to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Manage the delivery and storage of materials and equipment on site.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and clients to address site-specific issues and provide progress updates.
