The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mine Surveying or Geomatics, 10+ years in mining surveying, and a PLS or Mine Surveyor qualification.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mine Surveying or Geomatics.
• At least 10 years in mine surveying with supervisory experience.
• PLS or Mine Surveyor qualification is essential.
• Expertise in digital terrain modeling, cadastral surveying, and spatial data management.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Surpac and Datamine.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive mine surveying strategies and procedures.
• Survey surface and underground development, production areas, and infrastructure.
• Ensure accurate volumetric calculations for ore reserves and stockpiles.
• Maintain control networks including GPS and total stations.
• Operate advanced surveying equipment and software and mentor staff.
