Job summary

Medilogistics is seeking a fresh Checker Grade 1 to join the Medilog Hub in Pietermaritzburg. You will perform QA alongside the Supervisor, manage loading/offloading, and ensure parcels are scanned, stored, and dispatched accurately.

The role requires Grade 12, a business administration certificate, and at least 2 years of administrative experience, plus a valid driver’s licence. SLA training and company policies knowledge are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) requirement with relevant certificates.
• Computer literacy and basic administrative skills required.
• 2 years administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with SLA training, company policies and procedures.
• A valid Driver's Licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Loading and offloading /receiving line haul.
• Scanning and sorting of parcels.
• Debriefing drivers and returning undelivered parcels.
• Scanning out drivers and ensuring cold chain parcels are maintained.
• Issuing collections to drivers and ensuring return with proper comments.
• Confirming collections and processing for stage 1 and 2 with line haul.
• Scanning POD images and handling walk-in collections.

Job description

Medilogistics is looking for a fresh and energetic Checker Grade 1 to join their team at the Medilog Hub in Pitermazritzbug. This individual will be responsible for QA with the Supervisor of the consolidated bags per region and will report to the Distribution Manager.

Primary Purpose

• Loading and offloading /receiving line haul.
• Scanning and sorting of parcels.
• Debriefing drivers and returning of undelivered parcels
• Scanning out drivers
• Ensuring good storage of parcels/consignments.
• Ensuring cold chain parcels are maintained.
• Monitoring VC cage and ensuring priority parcels are scanned out to drivers.
• Issuing collections to drivers and ensuring that they are returned and comments captured for uncollected/cancelled collections.
• Confirming collections once drivers collected and ensuring they are processed for stage 1 and 2 to be sent with line haul.
• Scanning of POD images
• Issuing walk-in collections parcels to clients
