Job summary

Medilogistics is seeking a proactive Checker Grade 1 to join the Medilog Hub in Koedoespoort. The role involves loading/offloading line haul, scanning and sorting parcels, debriefing drivers, and ensuring proper storage and cold-chain integrity.

You will liaise with the Distribution Manager and DM, contributing to efficient parcel flow. The ideal candidate has Matric, a Business Administration certificate, and at least 2 years of administrative experience, plus a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Business Administration certificate preferred.
• Minimum 2 years administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Loading and offloading /receiving line haul.
• Scanning and sorting of parcels.
• Debriefing drivers and returning of undelivered parcels.
• Scanning out drivers.
• Ensuring good storage of parcels/consignments.
• Maintaining cold chain where required.
• Monitoring VC cage and prioritising parcels for drivers.
• Issuing collections to drivers and ensuring returns.
• Confirming collections and processing for stage 1 and 2 with line haul.
• Scanning POD images.
• Issuing walk-in collections parcels to clients.

Job description

Medilogistics is looking for a fresh and energetic Checker Grade 1 to join their team at the Medilog Hub in Koedespoort. This individual will be responsible for QA with the Supervisor of the consolidated bags per region and will report to the Distribution Manager.

Primary Purpose

• Loading and offloading /receiving line haul.
• Scanning and sorting of parcels.
• Debriefing drivers and returning of undelivered parcels
• Scanning out drivers
• Ensuring good storage of parcels/consignments.
• Ensuring cold chain parcels are maintained.
• Monitoring VC cage and ensuring priority parcels are scanned out to drivers.
• Issuing collections to drivers and ensuring that they are returned and comments captured for uncollected/cancelled collections.
• Confirming collections once drivers collected and ensuring they are processed for stage 1 and 2 to be sent with line haul.
• Scanning of POD images
• Issuing walk-in collections parcels to clients
