Medilogistics is seeking a fresh and energetic Checker Grade 1 to join their Cape Town Hub. The role involves QA with the Supervisor for consolidated bags per region and reporting to the Distribution Manager.

The candidate will handle freight processing, MAWB endorsements, and data capture on the company system. Ideal applicants should have Grade 12, a Business Administration certificate, 2 years of administrative experience, SLA training, and a valid driver's licence.

Qualificações

• Matric - Grade 12 is required.
• Business Administration certificate preferred.
• Computer literacy is required in daily tasks.

Responsabilidades

• QA with Supervisor on consolidated bags per region and ensure accuracy of MAWB endorsements.
• Process freight and ensure MAWB content and sequencing are correct.
• Capture/Scan all information on the company operating system.
• Assist with loading and offloading as needed.
• Follow up with line-haul company on stationary returns from hubs.
• Ensure consumables and stationery meet business requirements.

Medilogistics is looking for a fresh and energetic Checker Grade 1 to join their team at the Cape Town Hub.This individual will be responsible for QA with the Supervisor of the consolidated bags per region and will report to the Distribution Manager.

Business Processes:

• Sorting of freight by zone pr line-hauled region.
• Adherence to the company policies and procedures within the basic conditions of the employment act.
• QA with Supervisor the consolidated bags per region
• Process freight and ensure MAWB’s (Master waybill ) are correctly endorsed on consolidated freight
• Ensure MAWB labelled with the following content:
• MAWB has correct tracking number and sequence
• Full Consignee details included.
• Zone bags to be consolidated in Master consol bag/s
• Processing Return Parcels
• QA on the consol bags e.g holes etc and also on the seals utilized.
• Capture/Scan all information on Company’s operating system.
• Assisting with loading and offloading
• Follow-up with line-haul Company on stationary returns from Hubs.
• Ensure that consumables and stationary are enough to meet business requirements

Stakeholder Relationship:

• Relationship with DM
• Actively involved in office meetings/ communications
• Relationship with drivers/office staff
• Following correct escalation process of various queries
