Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant Manager in Paarl to support the management team in delivering outstanding catering services. You will help oversee daily operations, supervise staff, maintain quality control, and contribute to exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in catering/hospitality.
• Strong understanding of catering operations, food safety and customer service principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision and training of catering staff to meet standards.
• Support Catering Manager in planning and executing events.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all catering areas and equipment.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve operational issues to ensure satisfaction.
