Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Catering Manager to support daily operations at our Paarl facility. You will assist the Catering Manager in overseeing service delivery, food quality, staff supervision, and logistics to ensure exceptional events and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience within catering or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of food service operations and customer satisfaction principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and motivating the catering team to deliver outstanding service.
• Support the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation, adhering to strict quality and hygiene standards.
• Help manage inventory and control costs within the catering department.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the operational team, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the Paarl facility.
