Placements24 is seeking a Head of Catering Operations for Mossel Bay, Western Cape. This senior role focuses on strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement across high-volume catering services.

The candidate will drive profitability, lead multiple operational teams, and ensure quality and compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards. A relevant degree and extensive leadership experience are highly valued.

Competenze

• Minimum 7–10 years in catering or hospitality operations management, 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong financial acumen with budget management, P&L responsibility, and cost control strategies.
• Proven leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Oversee daily catering operations including menu planning, food production, logistics, and client service delivery.
• Lead and develop a team of catering managers, supervisors, and staff; establish KPIs and monitor performance against targets.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure procurement of quality ingredients.
