Placements24 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, is seeking a dedicated Caregiver Support Coordinator to provide essential support, resources, and emotional guidance to informal caregivers. You will develop programs, facilitate networks, and connect caregivers with services.

Formación

• Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 4 years in a support role (aged care or family support).
• Experience in program coordination, group facilitation, or counseling.
• Strong understanding of informal caregiver challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver caregiver support programs in Stellenbosch.
• Organize caregiver support groups, workshops, and respite activities.
• Assess caregiver needs and connect to resources.
• Provide emotional support and advocacy.
• Build networks with community resources and providers.
• Manage scheduling, venues, resource allocation.
• Maintain records of interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare and social services for holistic support.
• Promote caregiver needs awareness in the Western Cape.
• Contribute to evaluation and improvement of initiatives.
