Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Community Caregiver and Support Assistant for a flexible, part-time role in the Bloemfontein area. You will support individuals with daily living activities, provide companionship, and connect clients to community resources.

A partial remote structure allows initial assessments from home with site visits as required. The role emphasizes care planning, coordination with families, and maintaining safety.

Formación

• Caregiver certification or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of caregiving or support experience.
• Understanding of basic health, safety, and first-aid principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work independently with remote coordination.
• Reliable transportation for occasional community visits in Bloemfontein.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation, adhering to care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote well-being.
• Assist clients in accessing community services, appointments, and transportation.
• Monitor client well-being and report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator promptly.
• Coordinate care schedules and communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, following all health and safety protocols.
