Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Support Officer focused on Youth Development in Cape Town. The role centers on empowering young people through guidance, resources, and opportunities to foster growth, skills, and social inclusion.

Based in the Western Cape, you’ll design and implement youth-focused programs and events addressing education, employment, and engagement. You will design engaging programs, mentor youth, and connect them with internships, education, and counseling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Youth Work, Education, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with youth in community, educational, or non-profit settings.
• Experience in program development, facilitation, and youth mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver youth programs and workshops.
• Provide mentoring and one-on-one support to youth.
• Facilitate access to internships, education, and counseling services.
• Build relationships with schools, community centers, and youth organizations.
• Organise outreach events to promote youth engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate programs using participant feedback.
