Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and innovative Program Development Manager in Cape Town to lead the creation and enhancement of impactful charitable programs. You will identify community needs, design effective interventions, and guide sustainable growth in line with the organization’s mission.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to address social issues in the Western Cape, driving program innovation and community impact within a respected nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in program development, management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of new charitable programs aligned with strategic goals and community needs in Cape Town.
• Perform needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
• Secure funding and resources through grant writing, donor engagement and partnerships.
• Oversee program budgets, monitor performance metrics and ensure accountability and efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth program execution and evaluation, fostering continuous learning and adaptation.
